Job summary

Vero Biotech seeks a senior supply chain leader to direct purchasing, planning, warehousing, and materials control. You will forecast needs, drive production scheduling, and optimize margins and inventory turns while leading an end-to-end materials team.

You will implement Lean and ERP enhancements, manage supplier programs, and ensure cGMP compliance across functions, with a focus on reducing risk and improving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related field or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in purchasing and materials management roles.
• 5-10 years of direct management experience in a medical device or regulated environment.
• Strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
• Proven leadership skills in building and managing teams with a history of success.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of all functions involved in purchasing, planning, warehousing, and control of materials from forecasting to delivery.
• Manage inventory and establish controls to achieve high performance metrics and minimize supply chain risk.
• Develop strategies, policies, and processes to optimize the value of the function.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
• Lead and coach others in maintaining excellence in cGMP, quality control, and safety.
• Design and implement supplier programs and participate in product planning to ensure timely material acquisition.
