Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking an Executive Director, Strategic Contracting to lead payer contract strategy across the cancer center’s multi-billion-dollar portfolio. You will translate oncology economics, market leverage, and access priorities into durable contract terms, overseeing hospital, physician groups, and specialty service agreements.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of managed care principles and pricing.
• Experience negotiating third-party contracts in hospital or payer settings.
• Ability to design and implement new payment models and value-based care.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead payer contract strategy, negotiation architecture, and governance for the cancer center.
• Oversee commercial and Medicare Advantage negotiations including hospital and employed physician groups.
• Develop value-based payment arrangements with Moffitt Medical Group physicians.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast financial impact and optimize revenue cycle.
