Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability seeks an Executive Director of Partnerships & Strategy to lead strategic development and execution across academic and practitioner domains. The role focuses on growing large-scale, funded partnerships with industry and non-profits, coordinating with Stanford units, and representing the institute in high-level strategic engagements.

Qualifications

• PhD required with extensive energy research leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of energy technology ecosystem and policy.
• Proven ability to build and manage strategic university-industry partnerships.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a strategic vision integrating academic and practitioner perspectives across the energy system.
• Lead partnerships with industry and non-profits to deliver funded programs.
• Coordinate with Stanford centers and programs to enable research impact.
• Represent the institute in senior-level strategic discussions with sponsors and partners.
• Manage a cross-functional team including technical experts and program staff.
