Overview

We are seeking an RN Executive Director Specialist to join our New Starts team. Reporting directly to the AVP of New Starts, this role will serve as the administrator on call, overseeing the overall operation at the local office, employing qualified hospice personnel, and ensuring the provision of hospice services.

  • Establish and uphold high standards of quality and customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and evaluate goals and objectives for hospice services that align with organizational standards and philosophy.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal rules and regulations.
  • Achieve growth and development targets while establishing and maintaining market acceptance and loyalty within the local service area.
About You

This role requires a candidate willing to travel extensively across the country. You will be responsible for setting and implementing goals for hospice services and managing the operation of the facility. The position involves managing budgets and ensuring organizational goals are met while providing compassionate, compliant patient care.

  • In-depth knowledge of hospice operations, state and federal regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory affairs and governance requirements.
  • Familiarity with state and local healthcare regulatory guidelines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time nationwide.
  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement processes.
  • Background in healthcare sales and/or management with P&L responsibilities.
  • 3-5 years of sales or management experience, preferably in hospice or healthcare environments.
  • Ability to work independently with confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to share information openly to enhance team performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and professional judgment skills.
  • Proficiency with online and computer applications.
  • Quick learner with the ability to apply new knowledge effectively.
  • Capable of processing and integrating time-sensitive information from multiple sources.
