Job summary

Wellington at Arapaho, a Sonida Senior Living community in Richardson, Texas, is seeking an Executive Director to lead operations, drive occupancy, and deliver an exceptional resident experience.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and partner with sales and marketing to grow census while maintaining service excellence. This demanding leadership role requires strategic vision and servant leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, teams, and operations.
• Ability to meet all applicable state requirements to operate a senior living community.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of community operations.
• Foster a culture of exceptional resident care, hospitality, and customer service.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing team members.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations and policies.
• Drive occupancy and revenue growth through collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team.
• Manage community budgets, financial performance, and expense control initiatives.
• Oversee resident services and support positive outcomes for residents and families.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and local community partners.
