A leading travel media company is seeking a temporary salesperson to cover maternity leave from February 16 to June 16. This remote role targets driving revenue and managing client relationships across various platforms. Candidates should have 2-3 years in integrated media sales and strong interpersonal skills. Compensation is between $8,000 and $12,000 monthly, based on experience.
AFAR is looking for a temporary salesperson to cover a maternity leave. This role will prospect, nurture client relationships, field RFPs, close business and hold meetings with stakeholders for a 16 week term. During this period, this role will be responsible for the generation and growth of online/offline revenue through Afar’s existing channels - Afar.com, Afar Magazine, Afar Audio, Social, Events, Advisor, Creates, Video, etc. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in travel or related media sales, public relations, project management, and marketing. We’re looking for a self-starter with maternity cover experience who is proactive in driving revenue and increasing client base from day 1. Managing the end to end sales process is a requirement. Organization, time management, and attention to detail will be critical to deliver success.
Salary: $8,000 - $12,000 a month. Monthly retainer to be issued, pay to be negotiated based on experience.
