Hospice Executive Director - Senior Healthcare Leadership Position

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and strategic Hospice Executive Director to oversee our patient-centered hospice operations. Position Overview

As Hospice Executive Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality hospice care while maintaining regulatory compliance and fostering organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct daily hospice operations and provide strategic leadership to ensure organizational success
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and all applicable healthcare laws
  • Develop and implement organizational goals, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Oversee financial performance, including budget management and revenue optimization
  • Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare partners and community stakeholders
  • Monitor and optimize patient census, staffing levels, and operational metrics
  • Ensure delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care services
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare setting
  • 3+ years of hospice or home health experience
  • Current healthcare licensure (RN, LCSW, or MD) or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in business development and organizational growth
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
