Job summary

Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, OH, seeks an Executive Director, Revenue Cycle to lead the end-to-end revenue cycle for the hospital and its employed medical group. The role reports to the CFO and directs patient access, authorizations, registration, scheduling, revenue integrity, HIM, utilization, and denial management with external vendors.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in revenue cycle management, 3+ years in leadership, and strong CMS knowledge plus coding and payer

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of revenue cycle management, enrollment, billing or similar operations.
• Three years of recent leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of CMS and healthcare billing processes.
• Familiarity with medical office operations, professional fee billing and payer regulations.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, Revenue Codes and Place of Service Codes.
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end revenue cycle for the hospital and the employed medical group.
• Oversee revenue cycle processes across the health system with multiple departments.
• Advise on investments in software, outsourcing vendors and recovery projects to improve net revenue.
• Coordinate cross-functional workflows and improve processes for better financial outcomes.

Education

Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Healthcare

MBA preferred
