Job summary

Midwestern Oklahoma Development Authority seeks an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations, drive strategic planning, and ensure compliance with state contracts and regulations.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in planning, business management.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Word, Excel.
• Experience with grant management, budgeting, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to staff and ensure policies and procedures support operations.
• Develop and implement administrative policies for procurement, budgeting, auditing, and contracting.
• Promote four-county collaboration for program planning and development with local leaders.
• Direct employment processes including hiring, evaluations, discipline, and terminations.
• Oversee fiscal management including budgeting, auditing, financial reporting, and contracting.
• Manage board relations, bylaws, meetings, and related duties.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations at all levels.
• Serve as primary liaison to state and federal agencies and represent the Authority in meetings.
• Collaborate with the Board on budget and audits and oversee special projects.
