The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland seeks an Executive Director to supervise staff, manage operations and budgets, and lead fundraising initiatives. This role balances educational and public priorities while advancing The Clarice as a national leader in performing arts presenting.

Reporting to the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, the Executive Director drives artistic programming, collaborates with School of Music, TDPS, MSPAL, and Clarice Presents,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or University.
• 12 years of professional experience, including at least six (6) years supervising or managing professional staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to make sound decisions, solve complex problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee The Clarice staff, operations, facilities, budget, and fundraising.
• Guide artistic programming in collaboration with academic units.
• Lead strategic planning with campus partners and external collaborators.
• Foster collaboration, belonging, and community across departments.
