Job SummaryThis position is responsible for guiding teams to successfully on-board plan sponsors, third parties, and members onto the Luminare Health administrative platforms. This position will be responsible for defining and implementing standard methodologies, working with internal and external partners to enhance operations, ensuring business and operational outcomes are achieved, representing the Luminare Health business with external customers, and supporting sales and account teams through presentation participation and service development.

This position requires long range, strategic thinking combined with short-term process efficiency and operational management expertise with a focus on building operational and management capabilities that provide high service levels and quality while consistently decreasing unit costs. This position will lead implementation management, eligibility processing & maintenance, ID card issuance, COBRA, plan services, network integration, provider maintenance and repricing, member and accumulator management across all products and segments.

In partnership with Executive leadership, Chief Growth Officer, Sales, and Client Management works cross functionally to establish and maintain client performance measures and work to direct, coordinate and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to met current and future needs of the organization. Lead assigned operational functional areas in planning and implementation of strategies and tactics required to fulfill company objectives. Maintain ongoing compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements as well as Company policy and Accreditation Standards. This role provides an authoritative voice to ensure that various departmental workflows are appropriately understood, resourced, and monitored by supervisory and management staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide oversight and direction of operational goals and measures per SLAs to ensure overall operational effectiveness of assigned office(s) and delivery of world class service to Luminare Health clients and customers.

  • Act as mentor, coach and role model within assigned office(s) providing leadership and employee development opportunities to entire operations staff promoting personal growth and ensuring greater self-sufficiency.

  • Collaborate effectively to support and advocate enterprise, business operations and business initiatives by developing best practices which emphasize ownership, accountability, managed metrics and overall consensus, removing obstacles, holding self and others accountable.

  • Actively engage in company projects, initiatives, and participate in prospective/current client presentations and meetings when needed to support the strategic needs of the business.

  • Directly lead and manage staff

  • Complete annual performance appraisals and provide on-going coaching of direct reports and location staff

  • Act as mentor, coach and role model within assigned office(s) providing leadership and employee development opportunities to entire staff to promote greater self-sufficiency

  • Direct all operations people management activities including conducting performance reviews, salary actions, and hiring/firing decisions

  • Promote collegial environment through effectively collaborating, embracing change and working strategically.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of 10 years TPA Operations experience, of which 5 of those years were leading/managing

  • Excellent leadership and decision making skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, learn new skills and serve as a sponsor of change

  • Strong organizational skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading in TPA/Carrier operations environment, including Claims, Customer Service, Enrollment, Billing and Quality Assurance.

  • Demonstrated experience in motivating and leading highly successful operations and office support teams

  • Ability to inspire, lead and coach leaders and employees at multiple levels

  • Experienced in working across division/organization to build consensus and synergies that support change

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
