Overview

Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) is a non‑governmental organization dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and empowering women entrepreneurs globally. Our mission is to inspire and uplift women to become active participants in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, fostering economic growth and positive social change.

The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in advancing WEDO's mission by overseeing the Global Ambassador Program, managing strategic partnerships, spearheading fundraising efforts, and working closely with our founder, Wendy Diamond. Additionally, the Executive Director will oversee all team members, including outside contractors, volunteers, and interns. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in nonprofit management, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for women’s entrepreneurship. Candidates with consulting experience and residing in the Tristate area are preferred.

Global Ambassador Program
  • Oversee the Global Ambassador Program, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and support of ambassadors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the program's reach and impact.

Team Oversight
  • Oversee all team members, including outside contractors, volunteers, and interns.

Strategic Partnerships

Collaboration With Founder

  • Assist in representing the organization in public engagements, media appearances, and other high‑profile events.
Requirements
