Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in affordable housing, real estate, commercial lending, community development, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and complex operational environments.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial statement analysis.
  • Experience managing regulated programs, compliance requirements, and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • Mission-driven leader with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership across affordable housing, asset management, property management, finance, construction, and compliance functions.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and long-term sustainability initiatives.
  • Partner closely with the Board and senior leadership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and organizational priorities.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvement, performance management, and resource optimization.
  • Develop and mentor staff leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable housing regulations, funding requirements, audits, and risk management standards.
  • Represent the organization with community stakeholders, financial partners, municipal agencies, and nonprofit partners.
