Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno seeks a dynamic Executive Director, Development (EDOD) to join University Advancement. This senior fundraising role provides vision, direction, and oversight for a team of development professionals, while also serving as an individual fundraiser with a select major gifts portfolio.

The EDOD aligns strategy across colleges and units and drives transformational philanthropy. Reporting to University Advancement leadership, the EDOD partners with Deans and academic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree with relevant experience also accepted.
• 6 years of related work for Bachelor’s; 4 years for Master’s.
• Experience leading or supervising a development team and coordinating with academic units.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Directors of Development and drive fundraising strategy.
• Manage a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects.
• Collaborate with Deans and academic leaders to align fundraising priorities.
• Oversee campaign planning, prospect research, and data-informed management.
