Childrens Home Society of Florida is seeking an Executive Director of Business Development to drive strategic growth in the Greater Miami community. This role involves business development, community leadership, and enhancing financial sustainability through partnerships and fundraising efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive senior management experience, with a focus on community development and advocacy for children and families. If you have a passion for making a difference and a visionary approach, we invite you to apply.
Every child deserves the chance to dream big — to feel safe, supported, and surrounded by opportunity, no matter their ZIP code or circumstances. At Children’s Home Society of Florida, this belief fuels our mission to build strong foundations that empower children and families. For over 124 years, we’ve evolved from focusing primarily on foster care and adoption to addressing the root causes that put families at risk in the first place. Today, we’re leading through our groundbreaking Community Impact Model — a cradle-to-career approach that aligns resources and expands access to opportunity across entire communities. One powerful example of this model in action is our Community Partnership Schools, which are complemented by a rich ecosystem of early childhood programs, behavioral health services, and family resource centers.
We know that no solution is one size fits all. We work alongside communities to understand local needs, implement what works, and share best practices across regions. The result? Nurturing environments where every child and family has access to the opportunities they need to realize their dreams. Because when we reimagine what true community impact means, we create the foundation for every child, every dream, every future.
Each day, we become one step closer to fulfilling our vision: A world where children realize their full potential.
