Colby Community College invites applications for a full-time Senior Director - Nursing to lead the PN and ADN programs and advance nursing education in Northwest Kansas.

The role requires MSN, RN licensure in KS (upon hire), and prior nursing administration or teaching experience. You will shape curricula, manage scheduling, and collaborate with accrediting bodies to ensure program excellence.

Qualifications

• MSN required by hire; KS RN licensure to be obtained.
• Experience in nursing administration or teaching.
• Strong leadership and program oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the ADN and PN programs in alignment with institutional, KSBN, and ACEN standards.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing curricula to ensure compliance, relevance, and rigor.
• Oversee academic scheduling, clinical coordination, and faculty workload for both programs and potential instructional responsibilities.
• Ensure admission, progression, and graduation policies are consistent with state and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with KSBN and ACEN regarding program status and accreditation activities.
• Prepare and oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and equipment management.
