Coordination and monitoring of nursing standards and practice within assigned areas. Collaborates with, through a matrix relationship, managers in non-nursing areas as needed to facilitate optimal patient care. Supervises nursing personnel within areas of assignment for the Division of Nursing, maintaining standards of nursing practice and patient care management within the Hospital. Under the guidance and direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), this professional will focus on leading, collaborating, integrating, facilitating and evaluating in order to support systems necessary for professional nursing practice. Collaborate with other leaders to facilitate decisions that impact service outcomes across clinical settings. This professional will collaborate with other professionals to maintain patient care standards that align with Piedmont Healthcare's mission, vision and values.
