Job summary

ALJP Consulting seeks an Executive Director for New Native Theatre in Saint Paul, MN to lead growth and collaborate with staff, artists, board and community.

You will drive strategic planning, capital campaigns, budgeting, and earned revenue initiatives while ensuring a strong, inclusive culture and stewardship of Native American artistry; collaborate with artistic leadership and Board of Directors to build systems and infrastructure for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with Native American community, culture, history and stories.
• Trauma-informed leadership approach.
• Knowledge of capital campaigns and new performance spaces.
• Proficiency with logistics and organizing tasks for a small group.
• Experience with strategic planning in entrepreneurial environments.
• Experience with developing plans for increasing earned revenue and contributed income in nonprofit organizations.
• Familiarity with the logistics of theater production and operations.
• Fundraising expertise with corporate sponsorships, foundation grants and individual donors.

This person should work in an entrepreneurial way, suited to the daily operations of a small organization. TheExecutiveDirectoradministerstheaccounting,grantmanagement,andbudgeting.Aspartofateam,theExecutiveDirectorimplementsthebusinesspracticesnecessarytoensureanexemplarycultureofprofessionalartistsandtheprioritiesofthecompany.TheExecutiveDirectorwillactincollaborationwiththeartisticteam.AsNNTispoisedforgrowthanddevelopment,theTheExecutiveDirectorwillhelpbuildinfrastructureandsystems,tomanageandbudgetforgrowth,andtopopulateourworkwithqualitypassionateindividuals.TheExecutiveDirectorreportstotheArtisticDirectorandBoardofDirectors.
