The ideal candidate is ordained, holds an advanced degree in theology or education, has at least five years in parish or nonprofit leadership, and can travel domestically to work with LCMS districts and

Qualifications

• Faithful to the Holy Scriptures and Lutheran Confessions.
• Ordained member of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
• Advanced degree in theology or related field.
• A minimum of five years of parish experience or nonprofit/church leadership.
• Significant senior leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ONM strategic plan aligned with Synod priorities.
• Regularly visit districts to facilitate collaboration with leadership and staff.
• Provide strategic leadership for mission initiatives to increase district/congregation capacities.
• Oversee ONM budget and financial performance.
• Serve as staff resource to the Board for National Mission (BNM) and CMO.
• Oversee granting of RSO status to US-based organizations serving US constituents.
• Other duties as assigned by CMO or Synod President.
