Kinship Foundation is seeking an exceptional Executive Director to build and lead a new national nonprofit focused on empowering Muslim founders and investors to create value together at scale. The leader will recruit the initial team, shape strategy and the operating model, grow the user base, and launch the first year of programs and services, while building trust across diverse partners.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Experience building governance, strategy, and operating models for early-stage initiatives.
• Proven ability to cultivate partnerships with diverse stakeholders across ecosystems.
• Strong people management skills to lead a small, high-performing team.
• Familiarity with entrepreneurship, founder support, venture ecosystems, or related fields.
• Ability to engage credibly with national Muslim organizations and communities.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Kinship Foundation as it launches, shaping its first-year strategy.
• Hire, manage, and develop the initial team including community management and founder support.
• Grow and engage the Kinship user base to drive momentum and participation.
• Iterate the platform experience and service model based on user needs and outcomes.
• Generate deal flow and meaningful opportunities for participants across the ecosystem.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders: VC firms, accelerators, campuses, and mentors.
• Promote entrepreneurship to Muslim communities in the U.S. and globally.
• Translate vision into clear operational priorities and measurable progress.
