Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban, regional, or transportation planning, civil engineering, public administration or related fields.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in transportation planning or regional planning.
• Five years of senior management, including direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the OahuMPO and coordinate with partner agencies.
• Develop long-range transportation plan, TIP, CMP, and OW Program.
• Budgeting and fiscal management; ensure compliance with federal/state/local requirements.
• Recruit, hire, and manage staff.
• Advise Policy Board on federal and state requirements and communicate with agencies and the public.
