Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Executive Director, Medical Communications & Digital Excellence to lead a unified, high‑performing team within the Medical Excellence organization. You will fuse scientific storytelling with cutting‑edge digital strategies across channels, ensuring compliant, measurable communications across assets and indications.

You will partner with TA-embedded Medical Communications leaders to elevate narratives, drive omni‑channel engagement, and define the measurement

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or related field.
• 10+ years in pharma/biotech with senior leadership roles including medical communications and digital engagement.
• Expertise in scientific narrative development and medical storytelling across multiple therapy areas.
• Deep knowledge of publications, medical education, content development, and external scientific communications.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the VP, Head of Medical Excellence and serves on the Medical Excellence Leadership Team.
• Leads integration of Medical Communications Excellence and Medical Digital Engagement into a single high-performing team.
• Serves as enterprise center of excellence for TA Medical Communications leads and elevates scientific narratives.
• Establishes standards and best practices for scientific narrative development across assets and indications.
• Drives digital channel execution and measurement linking asset-level strategies to omni‑channel engagement.
