Job summary

Catholic Diocese of Arlington seeks an Executive Director for the Office of Marriage, Family, and Respect Life. The role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for ministries promoting marriage and human life.

Lead diocesan initiatives, collaborate with parish networks, USCCB, and related organizations, and oversee budgeting, fundraising, and major events. Telework opportunities may be available as part of a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Education: Advanced degree in Catholic theology or related field with emphasis on marriage and family life or equivalent degree and experience.
Experience: 6-10 years of leadership experience in parish, diocesan, or church-related nonprofit ministry.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
Proven success in strategic planning, program development, budgeting, and staff leadership.
Experience managing multiple priorities, large-scale events, and complex ministry initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead staff and provide executive leadership for OMFRL.
Develop and implement strategic plans and diocesan initiatives with partners.
Oversee marriage, family, and respect life programs and ministries.
Direct fundraising initiatives and budget management.
Oversee major diocesan events and biennial festival, including planning and logistics.
