Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an Executive Director of Business Management for the Mergers & Acquisitions team.

You will partner with group heads to drive priorities, coordinate finance and business support, and build strong cross‑functional relationships across technology, compliance, HR, and legal. You will synthesize data, prepare strategic materials for leadership reviews, and manage the M&A pipeline, forecasts, budgets, and expense controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Finance or Business Management with advanced investment banking understanding.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate across lines of business and functions.
• Team oriented with proactive ownership of projects and progress.
• Experience building quantitative and qualitative analyses and communicating insights.
• Ability to present findings to senior management in concise materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic agenda and deliverables for M&A leadership and Finance/Business Management.
• Coordinate M&A pipeline oversight, forecasts, budgets, and expense management.
• Develop presentations communicating strategy, performance, and priorities for internal and external audiences.
• Analyze industry trends and competition to identify market opportunities.
• Monitor reporting and processes to ensure internal controls and policy compliance.
• Establish strong partnerships with bankers, senior management, and functional partners.
• Manage Dealogic relationships to ensure accurate league table reporting.
