Job summary

Morningside Ministries is seeking an Executive Director for our Meadows campus in San Antonio, TX. You will lead operations, finances, and HR while delivering exceptional elder care in a warm, secure, and active community.

The role requires a Texas administrator license, 5+ years of senior leadership in senior housing, and a strong focus on resident satisfaction and community engagement. This is a full-time, in-person position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Gerontology, or related field.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role within senior housing (IL, AL, or LTC) preferred.
• Current Texas Nursing Facility Administrator License required; valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead the community’s operations, financial performance, and human resources management.
• Model and promote a resident-centered culture that ensures outstanding customer service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships in the local community to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Morningside Ministries’ standards.
• Engage with residents and families through an open-door leadership style.
• Oversee all departments, ensuring alignment with budget, quality goals, and resident satisfaction.
• Review financial statements, monitor performance, and implement action plans when needed.
• Support and promote Morningside Ministries’ mission to provide quality service to seniors.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in a senior leadership role within senior housing (IL, AL, or LTC); skilled nursing/long-term care experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas Nursing Facility Administrator License required; valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to lead people and solve complex problems.
