Job summary

Carefree Living in Babbitt, MN seeks an experienced Executive Director/Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) to oversee day-to-day operations of our assisted living community.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on resident-centered care, staffing, budgeting, and growth initiatives. This is a full-time day shift position with opportunities for professional development and advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license is required.
• Experience as Executive Director or assisted living leadership is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Minnesota assisted living regulations and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assisted living communities including clinical, administrative, dining, environmental, and staffing functions.
• Provide leadership and support to managers and staff to ensure high-quality resident-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with current county, state, and federal assisted living regulations.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure services are delivered according to resident care plans.
• Lead and support QAPI initiatives, safety programs, and operational improvement efforts.
