Job summary

Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce seeks an Executive Director to lead strategy and operations for RCC & Foundation. You will steer programs, staff, and finances, while building partnerships to serve LGBTQIA+ owned businesses in the Sacramento region.

The role requires 5–10+ years in senior non-profit management, strong fundraising and governance skills, and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; 5–10+ years of senior management experience.
• Proven success securing grants and donor funding; strong financial oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with a Board.
• Experience leading teams, building partnerships, and advancing DEI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term growth and organizational development with the Boards.
• Oversee daily operations, staff, volunteers, and programs with fiscal discipline.
• Represent the organization publicly and cultivate key partnerships.
• Develop annual plans for memberships, revenue growth, and fundraising.
• Ensure compliance with laws, audits, and transparent reporting.
