Qualifications

• Ten years of full-time paid law enforcement experience with five years in executive/administrative roles.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development and adult learning methods.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and political entities.
• Proven ability to pursue grants and obtain monetary support.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-million-dollar budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy operations and administration.
• Set statewide policies for fitness, use of force, and high-liability activity.
• Develop and approve training programs for recruits and ongoing education.
• Manage facilities, human resources, and capital projects.
• Represent the LETB at agency head meetings and testify on budgets.
