Job summary

RGA Enterprise Services Company seeks a senior leader to direct data engineering, BI, analytics, and reporting across Investments. You will guide enterprise data platforms, drive modernization, and ensure alignment with governance and strategy while building a high-performing, secure data organization.

You will manage budgets, stakeholder expectations, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions and responsible AI-enabled delivery, shaping strategic outcomes for the company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT/data/analytics experience
• 5+ years technical leadership/supervisory
• Experience with Investments tech solutions and investments domain
• Experience leading enterprise BI, data warehousing, analytics, and data management
• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale transformation programs
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Strong budgeting, vendor management, and resource planning

Responsibilities

• Directs data engineering, BI, analytics, and reporting to support Investments objectives
• Leads delivery, modernization, and adoption of enterprise data products and reporting solutions

Directs data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting services that support strategic business objectives across Investments domain . Leads the delivery, modernization, and adoption of enterprise data products and reporting solutions while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities.

Leads team of managers, architects, engineers, developers, and analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure data solutions. Leverages deep business and technology expertise to drive innovation, operational excellence, organizational change, and business value realization.

Principle Duties

• Manages multiple complex projects and/or technology initiatives; manages related teams, sets organizational priorities, and allocates resources
• Performs management responsibilities, including hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining direct reports; ensures sustained team performance through effective leadership, talent development, and succession planning
• Builds and maintains trusted stakeholder relationships across business and technology organizations, ensuring alignment of priorities, funding, resources, and expectations
• Leverages comprehensive understanding of Information Management concepts, theories and principles, and effective knowledge of other IT disciplines; evaluates and implements new services and solutions appropriately
• Supports the continued growth of the team by strengthening collaboration and promoting the responsible use of AI to increase speed of delivery, improve productivity, and expand overall team capacity
• Manages budgets, resource plans, vendor relationships, and operational metrics to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, operational excellence, and continuous learning
• Ensures compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, audit expectations, and data governance standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred:

• Master's degree
• LOMA certification
• Microsoft Certification
• Cloud Platform Certification (Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, AWS, or equivalent)
• Project Management and/or Agile delivery certification

Work Experience, Skills and Abilities

Required:

• 10+ years of information technology, data, analytics, or related experience
• 5+ years of technical leadership and supervisory experience
• Experience supporting Investment technology solutions, including deep domain knowledge in Investments and Investment Accounting
• Experience leading enterprise business intelligence, data warehousing, analytics, reporting, and data management organizations
• Demonstrated success delivering complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs and strategic initiatives
• Advanced portfolio, program, and project management capabilities
• Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, data governance, analytics, reporting, and information management practices
• Proven ability to align technology investments with business strategy and measurable outcomes
• Advanced stakeholder management, negotiation, influence, and executive communication skills
• Strong financial management, budgeting, vendor management, and resource planning experience
• Ability to build high-performing teams and develop future leaders
• Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution
• Regular and predictable attendance

Preferred:

• Insurance or reinsurance industry experience
• Experience supporting finance, actuarial, investments, operations, or enterprise reporting organizations
