JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Executive Director for Industry & Policy Thematics Research (IPT) to lead high-impact, written analytical research across multiple industries.

The role informs internal stakeholders and external clients on policy, geopolitics, and sector opportunities, coordinating with diverse research lines and client engagements. The IPT team analyzes supply chains and strategic technologies, delivering insights for decision-makers in a fast-paced, global financial services

Qualifications

• 1-5 years’ experience in data analysis.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• Intellectual flexibility to work across multiple industries and themes with curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a team player mentality.
• Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Drive research analysis on themes such as supply chain and advanced manufacturing; defense and aerospace; energy independence and resilience; frontier and strategic technologies; and pharmaceutical and health technologies and produce regular research and deep-dive reports.
• Discern and analyze fundamental drivers of relevant industries and supply chains.
• Produce and maintain quantitative indicators tracking progress or lack thereof of IPT industries development.
• Produce high quality commercial research drawing on data, market signals, and sector-specific evidence and factoring in how policy and geopolitics shape sectoral opportunities and risks.
• Project thematic developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with different lines of research and different business lines across the bank to leverage IPT research.
• Communicate findings through business writing.
• Maintain external relationships and contribute to internal and external client engagements
