A senior living company is seeking an Executive Director in Training for its Austin, Texas location. This 12-month program offers comprehensive rotational training under experienced mentors, focusing on community operations and leadership skills. • Ability to obtain a state administrator’s licensure by the end of the program.
• Proficient in workplace technology including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24‑hour operation, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure successful community operations.
• Participants must be open and willing to relocate following the training for their first assignment as Assistant Executive Director or Executive Director to any market in which Belmont Village operates.

The 12‑month Executive Director in‑Training (EDIT) program immerses candidates in all facets of senior living operations, providing shadowing, skill checklists, online modules, leadership assessments, and hands‑on experience under an experienced Executive Director Preceptor. Graduates are prepared to apply for Executive Director or Assistant Executive Director positions within Belmont Village.

What You Can Expect

• Comprehensive Rotational Training: Mentored by an experienced Executive Director Preceptor, you will gain hands‑on experience and develop expertise in all facets of senior living community operations, including regulatory compliance, customer service, employee relations, talent management, sales, care planning, and budget management, while representing Belmont Village's mission and values.
• Structured Mentorship and Feedback: Your progress will be supported through regular communication with the Program Administrator and Executive Director Preceptor, including monthly meetings, ongoing feedback, self‑evaluations, and progress reports.
• Career Advancement: Upon successful completion of the 12‑month program and final approval, you will be promoted to an Assistant Executive Director or Executive Director, based on company needs and your demonstrated abilities. This program is designed to develop future leaders within Belmont Village.
