Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Senior Director of Dining Services to lead foodservice operations in a healthcare setting in Lakeland, FL. This role oversees daily operations, client relationships, and profitability while guiding a team of dining services professionals.

You will drive quality food, safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction, aligning with the facility plan and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
• Two to four years of direct foodservice operations management with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends; focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability; contract-managed service experience desirable.
• ServSafe certification a plus.
• Forward thinking, proactive and the face of the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate the department within the approved budget, while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
• Ensures that the food that is offered is of superior quality.
• Directs and conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintains excellent relationships with guests and clients as well as other departments within the community.
• Promotes the professional growth and development of the entire team.
• Fosters strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
