Job summary

AHI agilon health, inc. seeks an Executive Director to lead market-level execution, performance delivery, and day-to-day management of physician and payer partnerships.

You will translate regional strategy into actionable plans, drive disciplined execution, and align stakeholders across the market. In this Total Care Model, you will ensure consistent performance, accountability, and continuous improvement, serving as the primary integrator at the local market level.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare operations, managed care, or provider organizations.
• Senior operational leadership role with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Experience managing healthcare operations, delivery systems, and process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with value-based care, including cost, quality, utilization, and risk adjustment drivers.
• Experience working with physician groups and payer partners.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for market-level P&L and operating performance, including medical margin and budget adherence.
• Lead day-to-day market operations and performance standards.
• Oversee care model programs, clinical pathways, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure effective use of data, analytics, and technology to support operations.
• Manage payer relationships and Joint Operating Committees (JOCs).
• Lead, develop, and mentor market team members and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
