South Chicago Parents and Friends, Inc. seeks an Executive Director for a full-time, on-site role in Dolton, IL. You will lead all programs (CDS, CILA, Home-Based Services), drive strategic planning, ensure regulatory and budget compliance, and manage a team of senior staff.

The position requires building strong partnerships with funders and stakeholders and reporting to the Board. The role emphasizes an equity- and person-centered approach, collaboration across disciplines, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, social work, public administration, nonprofit management, business, or related field.
• 10 years of progressively responsible experience in administration, financial management, rehabilitation services, or related areas.
• Knowledge of Illinois human services systems (CDS, CILA, Home-Based Services) preferred.
• Leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams with staff supervision.
• Nonprofit governance experience with Board interaction and compliance.
• Financial budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenditures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Strategic planning and program evaluation ability.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and person-centered practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all programs, services, and daily operations of CDS, CILA, and Home-Based Services.
• Lead strategic planning, policy development, and organizational growth initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory, contractual compliance, and accurate budgeting.
• Supervise senior staff and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Build and sustain relationships with funding agencies and partners.
• Represent the organization at meetings and advocacy events; report to the Board.
