Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation is seeking an Executive Director, Global Safety Strategy & Benefit-Risk Management to lead pharmacovigilance strategy and safety governance across the pulmonary portfolio. You will influence regulatory decisions and manage safety programs through a global lens.

The role requires MD-level expertise with 10+ years in safety leadership, and a track record of guiding complex regulatory interactions. Hybrid work from RTP, NC or remote within the US is available.

Qualifications

• MD with leadership in Safety Risk Management in pharma/biopharma.
• Experience leading safety governance and cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and spoken communication for Health Authority interactions.

Responsibilities

• Set global safety strategy across investigational and marketed products.
• Lead benefit-risk assessments for regulatory submissions and safety governance.
• Provide scientific leadership for signal detection, risk management plans and safety reviews.
• Chair safety governance committees and align with cross-functional partners.
