Job summary

Project C.U.R.E. in Phoenix seeks an Executive Director to build strategic partnerships and raise funds to support global medical relief.

You will lead donor relationships, major gifts, events, and community outreach, while guiding volunteers and coordinating with headquarters. The role emphasizes building a high-performance culture and managing budgets with regular reporting to the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of demonstrated fundraising success, especially in individual giving and major gifts.
• Alignment with Project C.U.R.E.’s mission and core values; passion for global health equity.
• Proven ability to set and achieve fundraising goals, manage stakeholders and report results.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the fundraising plan for individuals, major gifts, corporate donations and foundations.
• Recruit and lead the Phoenix Ambassador Board to support fundraising and mission growth.
• Develop strategic partnerships with organizations, universities, hospitals, and faith communities.
• Secure sponsorships for projects and manage client relationships across the CARE Cargo program.
• Recruit and manage volunteers and interns, and collaborate with the Operations Director on logistics.
• Represent Project C.U.R.E. in media and at community events to raise the organization’s profile.
• Coordinate with HQ and other Executives; maintain donor records in the CRM database.
