Job summary

The University of Georgia Foundation is seeking an Executive Director of UGA Foundation Financial Services to lead financial accounting, gift accounting, data analytics, and expenditure control. This role ensures strong internal controls, donor‑centric stewardship, and alignment with university priorities.

The incumbent will drive system integrations and staff development. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role requires strategic vision, rigorous oversight, and collaboration with DAR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent plus 12 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and 8+ years in higher education or non-profits.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for UGAF Financial Services and strategic alignment with DAR and campus partners.
• Lead financial accounting, gift accounting, data analytics, and expenditure control.
• Ensure internal controls, compliance, and fiduciary standards across the Foundation.
• Support fundraising strategy with donor-centric financial stewardship.
• Develop system integrations and data-driven decision making.
• Coach and manage direct and indirect reports; address staffing needs.
• Represent UGAF in governance groups and cross-unit collaboration.
