Job summary

The University of North Texas seeks an Executive Director of Development, Corporate and Foundation Relations to lead a foundation-forward advancement strategy, focusing on major national and regional foundations.

This role will devote the majority of its effort—approximately 80%—to identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major private foundations capable of making significant philanthropic investments in UNT’s priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong fundraising and donor relations experience.
• Ability to develop and manage strategic plans for foundation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of a transformational foundation relations strategy.
• Cultivate and solicit major private foundations and secure multi-year support.
• Provide strategic leadership for the CFR team with clear metrics.
• Coordinate foundation and corporate engagement aligned with UNT priorities.
• Oversee proposal development, stewardship, and post-award activities.
• Maintain accurate records of foundation and corporate activity.
