Job summary

Fortrea Consulting is seeking an Executive Director Epidemiologist in the United States to lead the epidemiology capability, provide scientific governance for high-risk programs, and guide method, quality, and talent priorities. You will partner with enterprise leaders on epidemiology, RWE, and consulting initiatives.

The role develops senior epidemiology leaders, shapes external scientific voice, and drives capability roadmaps across Fortrea’s consulting portfolio.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in epidemiology, public health, or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience with leadership of complex portfolios.
• 10+ years leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, judgment and influence with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to epidemiology growth strategy and lead priorities.
• Sponsor senior scientific approval for high-value pursuits and client relationships.
• Provide input to commercial priorities and opportunity pipelines.
• Shape scientific direction and capability roadmap for epidemiology.
• Develop epidemiology leaders and leadership succession.
• Lead governance and ensure regulatory readiness in epidemiology.
