Job summary

The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) invites applications for a Senior Director, Enterprise Network Architecture in Brooklyn, NY. You will lead data center architecture across enterprise sites and guide global network strategy.

The role requires extensive experience in designing enterprise networks, managing large teams, and delivering secure, scalable on-premises and cloud solutions. Candidates should have advanced technical leadership and project management skills to drive critical

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with 4+ years in voice/data telecommunications or related tech area.
• OR Associate degree with 5 years in telecom/related field.
• Equivalency accepted; high school diploma and 18 months executive/managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center architecture teams across enterprise data centers.
• Direct multi-site data center initiatives aligning with global network strategy.
• Define global enterprise network architecture including CCEWIN and Optical technologies.
• Research, evaluate, and validate new technologies to solve future problems.
• Design highly available, secure on-premises and cloud network solutions.
• Provide leadership and training to engineering and support teams.
• Perform root cause analysis for service interruptions and manage projects.
• Create high-level technical presentations for management and vendor collaboration.
• redeploy CCEWIN environment for optimum usage and participate in Optical Backbone initiatives.
• Oversee special projects and initiatives as assigned.
