Job summary

Granville Education Foundation in Granville County, NC seeks an Executive Director to lead its literacy, technology, cultural arts and grants programs in partnership with Granville County Schools. The role oversees staff, volunteers, fundraising, budgeting and reporting, working closely with committees of the Board.

The Executive Director will champion the Foundation's mission, manage program budgets, and cultivate community relationships to advance student achievement and educational enrichment.

Qualifications

• Experience in face-to-face cultivation and solicitation is a must.
• Excellent communication, computer proficiency and organizational skills required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise office operations and direct all administrative functions.
• Approve all vouchers for expenditures within limits established by the Board and manage contracts and leases.
• Prepare annual organizational budget for approval by the Board and oversee disbursement of funds.
• Oversee the Foundation's development, including Annual Giving Campaign and donor relations.
• Serve as the Foundation's public representative in various functions and media forums.
