Congressional School seeks an innovative and collaborative Director of Early Childhood and Primary School to provide strategic vision and administrative oversight for programs from six weeks to two years old and through Junior Kindergarten.

The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive learning environment, support curriculum and pedagogy, ensure licensing and accreditation standards, and collaborate with admissions and finance to support a vibrant school community.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Master's Degree in Education is strongly preferred.
• Minimum five years' teaching experience in early childhood grades.
• Supervisory/administrative experience as department head or higher is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Early Childhood Learning division including academic, operational, and personnel functions.
• Provide coaching and support for Early Childhood faculty on curriculum and pedagogy.
• Oversee student well-being and coordinate with Registrar on progress reporting.
• Establish curricular objectives with classroom teachers and support professional development of faculty.
• Ensure licensing and accreditation standards are met, including VAIS/NAEYC where applicable.
• Collaborate with Admissions to support recruitment and the admissions process.
