Job summary

Logan’s Heart and Smiles seeks an Executive Director for Disability Services in Madison, WI. This leadership role guides mission-driven programs, fundraising, and operations to support children with disabilities and their families.

The Executive Director will oversee governance, staff development, financial management, and community relations, building partnerships and advocating for inclusive services.

Qualifications

• Significant nonprofit leadership experience required.
• Demonstrated success in staff leadership, fundraising, and financial management.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities for diverse audiences.
• Experience working with or on a nonprofit Board of Directors.
• Authentic passion for the mission and comfort working with children with disabilities and their families.
• Adaptability for a hands-on role in ambiguity, change, and growth.
• Familiarity with nonprofit financial systems and donor databases.
• Experience navigating interpersonal dynamics with empathy and integrity.
• Experience in marketing and/or public relations.
