Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Digital Banking Platforms team seeks an Executive Director to lead the strategy and execution of next-generation digital banking capabilities across web and mobile interfaces. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into execution-ready roadmaps and scalable platform capabilities.

The role requires deep experience in digital product leadership, banking or wealth management, client experience, and technology delivery, with

Qualifications

12+ years in product, platform, or technology leadership.
Experience delivering enterprise-scale platforms.
Experience in Wealth Management, retail and/or commercial banking, and/or consumer financial technology.
Strong ability to lead across cross-functional, matrixed organizations.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing product teams; direct people management experience strongly preferred or required.
BA/BS required; MBA (or advanced degree) preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive strategy, roadmap, and delivery of next-generation digital banking capabilities across client-facing mobile and web platforms, including embedded AI and personalization.
Shape and advance the multi-year product vision for digital banking offerings, ensuring alignment with Wealth Management priorities.
Drive complex, high-impact initiatives from strategy through execution by partnering with Technology, Design, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Fraud, and business stakeholders.
Lead product discovery, client research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to identify opportunities that improve adoption and engagement.
Translate business objectives, client insights, market trends, and data analysis into actionable roadmaps, executive-ready recommendations, and measurable delivery outcomes.
Present product strategy, recommendations, risks, and progress to executive management, driving alignment across teams.
Establish strong product governance across initiatives, including prioritization, requirements quality, delivery oversight, risk mitigation, stakeholder communications, and post-launch measurement.
Monitor the digital banking, wealth management, cash management, fintech, and payments landscapes to identify opportunities and threats.
