Position Summary: This isn’t just a delivery role—it's a chance to build a high-performing global program. We’re looking for an Executive Director, Delivery who can blend strategic vision with a hands-on, operational approach. You will build a delivery team capable of handling a diverse range of technology projects, from strategic advisory to staff augmentation, oversee all delivery operations (resourcing, finance, process, project health), and shape our business development efforts.
Your Role. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the program delivery function of one of our partner practices, establishing the operating model, communication planning, processes, and tools for successful project execution, both on- and offshore.
- Define, manage, and execute a variety of client projects to maximize business objectives, manage expectations, and maintain profitability.
- Directly manage project management team members, providing ongoing mentorship, career development, and performance guidance.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of project and program managers, fostering a culture of client and team excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and deliver weekly internal and client-facing status updates for engagements, including executive-level communications.
- Balance strategic and operational thinking with strong attention to detail and execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent project communication.
- Make resourcing recommendations and monitor team bandwidth and effectiveness; assess program pacing and delivery health to ensure viability.
- Join client and internal meetings to identify evolving needs and opportunities; act as a subject matter expert on delivery processes, capacity, and timelines.
- Lead discussions with key stakeholders to communicate program progress, milestones, and overall delivery health.
- Manage complex project timelines, budgets, scope, and risks to ensure high-quality delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to business development by helping define project scope, resource estimates, and refining processes as we scale.
- Support change management by modeling tactical approaches and managing resources across shifting project needs.
- Travel is expected, up to 40%.
Your Experience. Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years of digital & technical project management, ideally in content management systems, eCommerce and digital design environments
- 5+ years of program management experience
- 7+ years of experience leading and mentoring internal teams and fostering collaboration
- Experience with managing various technology platform implementations, especially Adobe technology and creative solutions
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics
- Strong cross-functional and cross-geographical leadership skills with a track record of delivering delivery excellence across global processes
- Experience merging project artifacts into a program-scale set of artifacts to orchestrate initiatives and optimize delivery
- Project and team financial management, including budget, margin, demand forecasting, and resource planning
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with scheduling, planning, and delivery excellence
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem solving, organization, time management, and risk management skills
- Self-directed in a dynamic environment with diverse skills and experience levels
- Competency with Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and G-Suite
- Experience in an agile framework and hybrid scrumfall environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 12+ years of project management experience in technology.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, technical, and regulatory documents; ability to write reports and present information to groups of managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Certificates and Licenses: No certifications required.
Work Environment: Remote position — Eastern or Central Time Zones preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $173,000 - $275,000 USD, based on experience, expertise, location, and impact. This is for a 40-hour workweek; the company is flexible.
