Job summary

Ridgeview Institute - Smyrna is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the facility’s clinical and social services programs. You will collaborate with the Medical Director and senior leadership to design, implement, and continuously improve clinical programming that supports patient outcomes, staff excellence, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities include leading clinical services, budget oversight, and mentoring interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Master’s in social work or related mental health field
• GA license in mental health (LCSW/LMFT/LPC-CPCS)
• Minimum 5 years in psychiatric/mental health; 3+ years in advanced clinical/management preferred
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS standards, OSHA regulations, patient rights standards, and applicable laws

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for clinical services, including administrative oversight, clinical workflows, and performance management
• Serve as executive representative for Clinical Services, partnering with Medical Director to plan, develop, and improve clinical programming
• Ensure integrity of clinical programs for specialized populations and responsiveness to community needs and payer expectations
• Monitor market trends, referral patterns, payer dynamics, and regulatory factors impacting behavioral health
• Set vision for clinical programming and drive improvements for quality, efficiency, and outcomes
• Establish standards of practice and mentor clinical leadership and teams
• Lead departmental budget planning for staffing, facilities, and resources
• Align clinical service goals with organizational priorities and performance objectives
• Manage Program Therapists, Discharge Planner, and other treatment team members
