Job summary

Gallagher invites an experienced Director, Client Accounting & Finance to oversee the General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions for the firm and its trust clients in the U.S. This role emphasizes internal controls, staff supervision, and adherence to accounting standards across financial activities.

You will lead month-end close, intercompany processes, and accounting system design, collaborating with leadership to drive process improvements and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business required.
• 7+ years of related experience in accounting and finance.
• Ability to translate financial concepts and communicate clearly.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Expert proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks required.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting and financial reporting functions.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with policies and standards.
• Lead staffing decisions, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Manage full cycle accounting and financial planning activities.
• Prepare analyses for audits and leadership presentations.
