The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) in New York City seeks an Executive Director of Citywide Broadband to guide the broadband vision and execution at a pivotal moment for affordability and adoption citywide.

You will shape statewide and city broadband policy, oversee budgeting and staffing, and coordinate across agencies while engaging with public officials, industry, and the public to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and 4 years of satisfactory experience at senior level or executive capacity related to duties.
• Experience in broadband policy, digital equity, or telecommunications regulation preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop a high‑performing team and manage complex budgets.

Responsabilités

• Develop and own the vision and execution of citywide broadband strategy end to end.
• Represent the city in funding conversations, hearings, and negotiations with industry partners.
• Build and lead a team, manage the budget, and coordinate across city agencies.
• Drive adoption and affordability initiatives, including low‑cost plans and progress reporting.
