Job summary

Essen Health Care seeks a Director of Diagnostic Imaging Operations (Cardiac & Vascular) to lead and optimize imaging services across multiple outpatient sites. You will own accreditation, imaging systems, staffing, payroll accuracy, and clinical quality.

A cardiac/vascular technologist background and experience with IAC, ACR, and TJC are essential. You will manage end-to-end imaging workflows, collaborate with IT and vendors, and mentor technologists while advancing performance metrics and

Qualifications

• RVT or RVS certification required.
• 1–3+ years leadership in outpatient imaging operations.
• Direct experience managing IAC, ACR, and TJC accreditation.
• Strong understanding of HL7 workflows and troubleshooting.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accreditation & Compliance: own imaging accreditation for IAC, ACR, and TJC; ensure survey readiness and lead corrective actions.
• Imaging Informatics & Systems: manage order to report to billing; protect HL7 and DICOM integrity; reduce interface errors and denials.
• Staffing, Payroll & Operations: build site- and modality-specific staffing; oversee payroll/ PTO; mentor technologists.
• Clinical Quality & Training: standardized onboarding; enforce imaging protocols; improve diagnostic quality.
• Performance Management: monitor KPIs like volume per technologist, turnaround times, and cost per study.
