Job summary

Capital Area Housing Partnership in mid-Michigan seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization’s mission and operations. Reporting to the Board, the ED will guide strategy, housing programs, finances, people and partnerships, and will be a visible advocate for affordable housing.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of nonprofit leadership and a strong commitment to community development; the salary range is $125,000 to $145,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; seven+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit management or related field.
• Strong track record in housing, community development, or real estate development.
• Experience with governance, program oversight, fundraising, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and organizational leadership across CAHP's programs, housing portfolio, finances, people, partnerships, and resource development.
• Act as a visible advocate for affordable housing and community development with government, funders, developers, and civic leaders.
• Lead efforts to strengthen CAHP's financial infrastructure, visibility, and impact in mid-Michigan.
